Aerotek is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support industrial manufacturing operations in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Inspect, repair, replace, and adjust machinery and equipment components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Work with bearings, gearboxes, pumps, piping systems, lubrication systems, and rotating equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment conditions accurately.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and other support equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, and reliability initiatives throughout the facility.
