Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Davenport, IA to repair and maintain all production related machinery and plant equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing mold and lining tool changes, and conducting daily PMs with safety documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and hands-on experience with pneumatics, electrical systems, tooling, and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in pneumatics, basic electricity and mechanical devices, use of hand and power tools, measuring devices, welding, surface grinders, lathe.
• Ability to read and understand assembly diagrams, electrical and pneumatic symbols and diagrams, and blueprints/schematics.
• Fork lift certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on production machinery per established procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on molding and lining department machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on molding and lining department machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues on molding machines.
• Coordinate with outside resources for troubleshooting and part numbers.
• Notify supervisor of part numbers for low inventory stock or parts needed for repairs.
• Perform mold and lining tool changes when necessary.
• Adjust lining machine vision systems when necessary.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly PMs, safety checks, and troubleshooting/repairs documentation.
• Follow safety rules including lock out/tag out and arc flash.
• Weld and/or fabricate parts for machines as needed.
• Continually increase skills through education and training.
• Familiarize with all equipment on the production floor and its function.
• Operate aerial lifts, motorized pallet jacks and forklifts competently.
• Assist engineering on projects as needed and directed by supervisor.
• Backup: Off-shift Maintenance.
• Follow Food Safety related policies and procedures.
