Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a maintenance technician to assist with planning, coordinating and performing general maintenance to keep buildings, grounds and equipment in good working order.

You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work and costs. The role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to operate tools and heavy manual labor in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in maintenance/repair.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and minor repairs.
• Electrical and plumbing safety knowledge at an intermediate level.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
• Ability to maintain basic maintenance reports and records.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other mechanized equipment.
• Dependable, reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery by ensuring operation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, conveyors and related components.
• Inspect and replace parts; perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Record maintenance work and costs.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
