Job summary

ZipStaff Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molding and auxiliary equipment in our facility.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, operate shop tools, and fabricate or repair parts as needed to keep production running smoothly. The position requires basic mechanical and hydraulic aptitude, the ability to read schematics, and the potential to obtain a forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 12 months related experience or training.
• Must have basic mechanical and hydraulic aptitude.
• Ability to obtain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of molding and lining machines as assigned.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues with equipment.
• Maintenance of auxiliary equipment such as water pumps, sand filters, and HVAC systems.
• Maintenance of conveyors, forklifts, material elevators, and personnel lifts.
• Operate hand tools and maintenance shop machine tools as needed and trained.
• Fabrication or repair of mechanical equipment and parts for the facility.
• Repair or replacement of machine guarding and related components.
• Install and relocate equipment within the facility.
• Complete Work Orders and document work.
