Job summary
PHOENIX CLOSURES in Davenport, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production machinery across the molding and lining departments. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure machines run safely and efficiently.
The role requires hands-on experience with pneumatics, basic electrical work, welding, and operation of forklifts and lifting equipment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with pneumatics, basic electricity, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read assembly diagrams, electrical/pneumatic symbols and blueprints.
- Experience with hand and power tools, welding, and precision measuring equipment.
- Follows safety rules and GMP-related policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on molding and lining department machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on production equipment.
- Coordinate with outside resources for parts and repairs as needed.
- Document daily, weekly, and monthly PMs and safety checks.
- Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and pallet jacks as required.
- Assist engineering on projects as directed by supervisor.
