Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance on plant equipment across our manufacturing facilities. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, install and calibrate equipment, and support preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires the ability to read technical drawings, work safety procedures, and to work independently while collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking, work orders, and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a concrete manufacturing environment and perform physical job duties up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance activities.
• Partner with production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and support continuous operations.
