Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running at peak performance. You will inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC and numerically controlled equipment, with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to reduce downtime and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing equipment repair.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must read, write and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot numerically controlled machines with Engineering collaboration.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions, estimate repair time, source parts, and test repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance including inspecting drives, motors, belts, fluids, filters and lubrication.
• Monitor safety standards and complete scheduled inspections for all machines.
• Assist with installation of capital equipment and electrical wiring systems.
• Perform painting, sheet metal work, and welding as needed.
