Responsibilities include tool loading, program offsets, machine tuning, and documenting downtime. The position emphasizes lean practices, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a high-speed production environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with 3 years experience or equivalent.
• Metalworking or metal removal experience; CNC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math; able to read/write/speak English; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work safely following OSHA rules and wear PPE.
• Perform advanced setups on equipment and install tools/fixtures.
• Verify machine settings, run first piece, check specs.
• Load and test programs; adjust feeds/speeds as needed.
• Monitor production, inspect parts, and document downtime.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to 6S standards.
• Cross-train across machines and participate in lean initiatives.
