Job summary

Knoll Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced plant.

You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime and boost reliability. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, and experience with CMMS, PLCs, and Lean manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs as qualified.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance needs.
• Document maintenance activities and assist in improving maintenance programs.
• Work with Production and Engineering to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
