Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance on material handling systems. The role involves preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, welding and fabrication disciplines.

The technician will read schematics, manuals, and engineering specs to diagnose faults, escalate where needed, and enter data into the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certifications in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related area.
• Experience with mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls, welding/fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals to diagnose and repair faults.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
• May read PLCs and assist higher level technicians on complex control issues.
• Read and follow safety standards and attend trainings.
