Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls issues, read schematics, and use EAM software for data entry and retrieval.

The role involves learning to interpret manuals, assist with project scopes, and adapt to flexible scheduling, including evenings or nights as needed by operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree in a related area preferred.
• Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and working knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manuals and engineering specs to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and make repairs.
• Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data.
• May develop scopes of work and small project plans for local improvements.
