Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment in readiness, perform inspections, preventative maintenance and required repairs, and report conditions to the Area Manager. You’ll also prepare daily and weekly department reports.

Requirements include a minimum of two years' experience in mechanical repair and heavy industry, working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding experience, and ability to work in confined spaces; safety compliance is

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in mechanical repair in heavy industry.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding experience and ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect condition and operation of plant and mobile equipment, perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders, install and fabricate metal parts, ensure safety and equipment availability.
• Prepare and weld steel and aluminum structures and components.
• Conduct routine inspections and report findings to Area Manager.
• Support colleagues as needed to complete tasks and respond to emergencies.
