Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician RMX to preserve equipment readiness and support production uptime. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and assemble daily reports, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of fixed mechanical systems.

You will follow safety policies, manage parts inventory, and perform emergency repairs to minimize plant downtime while adhering to company procedures. Candidates with 2+ years in heavy industry maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and plant maintenance.
• Welding, cutting torch, and general hand tools experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s service intervals and company procedures.
• Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs or adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
