Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician RMX to maintain plant equipment, perform inspections, and diagnose and repair various fixed mechanical systems. The role includes preparing daily reports and responding to breakdowns to keep production online.

Qualified candidates have at least 2+ years in heavy industry maintenance, basic mechanical skills, welding knowledge, and the ability to operate skid-steers or man-lifts as a plus. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

High School diploma/equivalent required.
2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
Basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance experience (change screens, welding, cutting torch, wrenching).
Skid-steer and man-lift operation a plus; stick/arc welding and lite fabrication are a plus.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment in a state of readiness and perform inspections.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment and machinery.
Prepare daily/weekly department operating reports.
Perform emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns.
Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies; complete required paperwork.
