Job summary

DePalo Foods Inc in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on food manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support installation of new equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of maintenance experience in production settings, a high school diploma (trade cert preferred), and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic automation systems.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing motors, pumps, valves, tanks, mixers, conveyors and drives.
Hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment according to schedules.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Repair and maintain motors, pumps, valves, tanks, and related components in a plant setting.
Assist with fabrication and installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery.
Document maintenance activities and support equipment history and continuous improvement.
