Job summary

Depalo Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide range of mechanical systems in a production environment. You will troubleshoot issues, support fabrication and installation of new equipment, and help keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in a manufacturing setting, with knowledge of motors, pumps, valves, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, pumps, valves, tanks, mixers, conveyors, packagers, belts, drives.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment according to schedules.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist with fabrication and installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs to support equipment history and continuous improvement.
• Follow safety guidelines and plant procedures for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Other duties as assigned.
