Job summary

Mission Foods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to repair, install, and inspect a variety of production equipment in a food processing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality controls.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with PLCs and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred; 2 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience required.
• Food/beverage processing or packaging environment preferred.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes; PLC programming certification preferred.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and install complex electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and report hazards.
• Inspect machines, perform tests, and complete required reports.
• Perform PM and repair work according to AI B standards.
• Diagnose and determine when parts need replacement.
• Dismantle and reassemble gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, etc.
• Operate lifting equipment and assist in equipment relocation.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
