Job summary

OSI Group Batavia, IL is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to service and troubleshoot production equipment. The role requires reading schematics, performing PMs, and supporting safety procedures in a food manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in a related field, knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding, and basic refrigeration. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in mechanical/industrial engineering preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience encouraged.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on production lines to keep them running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Perform welding and fabrication as required.
• Keep accurate job order records and assist team members.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and training is provided.
