Industrial Maintenance Technician - Entry Level

Who You Are:

A dependable, self-motivated individual capable of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems safely by following company policies. Able to work a flexible schedule.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues on machinery using CMMS software to track work orders and PMs.
• Engage in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of electronic power generating equipment and transmission/distribution/control equipment for electric-power utilities.
• Resolve problems using your knowledge and develop recommendations involving new techniques, technologies, or concepts to improve operations.

Skills You Bring:

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical plant experience.
• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase, 270V, 110V, 24V systems.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Experience in the glass industry is a plus.
• Ability to use a multimeter efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical issues.
• VFD programming knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with PLC input/output controls troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of potentiometers, servos, drives, and encoders.
