Regional Service Manager - South

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions, ABB standards, quality, and safety guidelines. You will provide quality customer service, demonstrating urgency and care. The work model is remote with travel. You will be part of the Process Automation Energy Industries division in the Southern region, mainly responsible for:

1. Performing entry-level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and analyzing them remotely or on-site.
2. Preparing material lists and ensuring availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment.
3. Executing work accurately on the first attempt, on time, and meeting quality standards.
4. Troubleshooting equipment failures and recommending future preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Automation, or Control; 8+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking, cybersecurity, and ABB 800xA/AC800M DCS is a plus. Formal training will be provided.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in DCS systems maintenance, configuration, and process control. Must be willing to relocate near Baton Rouge, LA; relocation support provided.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, teamwork, customer focus, and professionalism.
• Fluent English and valid driver's license. Authorization to work in the US required.
