Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment and to troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions. The role includes repairs, calibrations, and compliance with safety standards.

The position is based at the production facility in Texas, with responsibilities spanning reading blueprints, testing machinery, and maintaining tools and parts inventory to support reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent or technical school completion.
• At least 2 years of industrial electrical/mechanical support experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements in electrical/mechanical operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair existing electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Install power wiring and conduit for new machines.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematics.
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery with facility personnel.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain stock of tools and electrical parts.
