Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Texas is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for ensuring mechanical functioning of plant equipment and troubleshooting electrical/electronic malfunctions, completing repairs and routine maintenance. You will read blueprints and schematics, calibrate equipment, replace faulty components, and coordinate with production staff to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for electrical and mechanical work.
• Able to work with three phase 480V equipment and motors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair existing mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Operate mechanical tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management as directed.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematics.
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss with facility personnel.
• Replace or repair faulty mechanical components and calibrate equipment.
