Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment and to troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions, performing repairs and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment in production, reading blueprints and schematics, calibrating equipment, and ensuring safety with OSHA standards. This is an on-site role at our North American facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial electrical or mechanical support roles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with OSHA electrical/mechanical safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in production areas.
• Install wiring and conduit for new equipment.
• Read blueprints and process drawings to support maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions; calibrate and adjust equipment per specs.
• Keep tools and parts stocked; weld and fabricate as needed.
