Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance technician responsible for ensuring the proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment and troubleshooting electrical/electronic malfunctions.

The role involves repairing, calibrating, and maintaining machinery to meet manufacturer specifications. Applicants should have a high school diploma or technical training and at least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support, including reading schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training required.
• At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
• Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of three phase 480 volt equipment and NEC.
• OSHA safety requirements awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair existing mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Operate mechanical tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management as directed.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other facility personnel.
• Replace or repair faulty mechanical components of machine.
• Calibrate and adjust mechanical equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain stock of tools and electrical parts for routine work.
• Weld and fabricate as required.
