Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Spokane Valley, WA. This role maintains and repairs production equipment, tools, and machinery under supervision, ensuring uptime and reliability.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints and schematics, and use a range of hand and power tools. A strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical principles is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines perform optimally.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts; replace filters and fluids as needed per checklists.
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Dismantle equipment to access parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment for proper operation.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts.
• Review blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
