Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and electrical components at our Spokane Valley facility. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure machines run safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and maintenance manuals.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.
• Physically able to lift up to 65 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running optimally.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and replace filters as needed.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools.
• Operate hand and power tools; assist in troubleshooting capabilities.
