Job summary

PureCycle Technologies is seeking a PreP Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair critical industrial production equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help keep downtime to a minimum in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on mechanical skills, solid troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety. You will read schematics, interpret manuals, and collaborate with operations to prioritize tasks

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or related role.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Basic electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
Welding, fabrication, and metal repair experience.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, vehicles, and support equipment according to established schedules.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures to minimize production downtime.
Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, drives, chains, belts, rollers, guards, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems on machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment docs.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform basic welding and fabrication as needed.
Service and repair diesel engines, forklifts, and other facility vehicles.
Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general facility maintenance repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, meters, welding equipment, and shop tools safely.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and support operations during downtime events.
Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
Communicate status and safety concerns to supervisors and operations staff.
