Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform basic to intermediate maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure with minimal supervision. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, service HVAC, lighting, and safety systems, and use CMMS tools to log parts and maintenance work.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.
Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts, and power tools.
Read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
Basic working knowledge of PLC ladder logic.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Maintain and repair CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and compressed air systems.
Service facility systems including HVAC, lighting, sprinkler systems, plumbing, and office fixtures.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Record materials used and requisition parts using electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, laptops).
Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
Support special projects directed by Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with 6S standards.
Assist contractors and coordinate materials logistics, including pick-up and delivery.
Ensure regular, reliable attendance.
