Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform basic to intermediate maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.

The role covers scheduled and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility support to ensure operational efficiency and workplace safety. The incumbent will service CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders and compressed air systems, while maintaining HVAC, lighting,

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Experience in industrial mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic working knowledge of programmable logic (PLC).
• Proficiency with electrical test and diagnostic equipment (volt meters, ammeters, AC drives).
• Experience with CMMS software (Manager Plus, MaintainX, eMaint, Flix, Limble).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders and compressed air systems.
• Service HVAC, lighting, sprinkler systems, plumbing and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Record materials used and requisition parts using electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, laptops).
• Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
• Support projects directed by Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
• Adhere to safety procedures and 6S standards.
