Job summary

Hudson-Industries is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair plant machinery. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; installing automated equipment and reading blueprints.

Qualifications include 4–10 years in related work or apprenticeship, forklift license, and ability to work at height with lifts. OSHA safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
• Must have forklift license.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts for machinery.
• Install and repair electrical transformers, wiring, and electronic components.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery (Fanuc robots, Rexroth, Meadar controllers).
• Visually inspect and test machinery using electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Repair and maintain facility machinery and equipment (engines, conveyors, production machines).
• Dismantle defective machines; install new/repaired parts with precision tools.
• Assemble and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems; replace gauges/valves.
