Job summary

Aerotek in Kent, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation. You will support preventive and reactive maintenance, minimize downtime, and collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability.

Candidates should have hands-on mechanical repair experience in an industrial setting, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to read maintenance instructions and schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic electrical systems in industrial equipment.
• Hands-on mechanical repair experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on production machinery.
• Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance and documenting activities.
• Forklift training or experience operating forklifts in a production/warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on production equipment to identify root causes.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements to restore equipment and reduce downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed.
• Assist with machine changeovers, setups, and calibrations to support production requirements.
• Inspect machinery and facility systems regularly and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure equipment availability.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Support continuous improvement by implementing maintenance-related enhancements.
