Job summary

Keel Midwest is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment across our facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, and ensure equipment readiness for production while following safety procedures and documentation standards. Occasional travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to use hand-held tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Welding and gas torch cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine controls and disassemble/assemble parts.
• Ability to install conduit, pipe, regulators, and hoses.
• PLC and computer controls knowledge preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; maneuver 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must work well in a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Maintain fixtures and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose repair issues and replace defective parts.
• Follow safety protocols and document repairs.
