Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

You will collaborate with plant personnel, use a computerized PM program, troubleshoot and repair equipment focusing on automation and control systems, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability while supporting wastewater and power plant systems.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience required.
• Specialized knowledge in boiler operation, wastewater treatment, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management, and other operations partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements by training and documenting activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
