Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform Preventive and specialized maintenance in an automated laundry facility. The role ensures safe, cost-effective operation and compliance with safety and environmental requirements, including wastewater and power plant equipment.

You will document repairs using the PM program, troubleshoot automation and control systems, and collaborate with management to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety compliance (e.g. LOTO, hot work, confined space) and wastewater treatment.
• Boiler operator license and wastewater certification may be required depending on state.
• Valid driver's license and driving record free of chargeable accidents or safety violations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management and other partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and wastewater requirements and keep records.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
