Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an automated laundry facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.

The candidate should have 2+ years of industrial maintenance, knowledge of electrical schematics, boilers, hydraulics, and safety compliance. A boiler license and wastewater certification are preferred. Must hold a valid driver’s license and work on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical schematics and controls; familiarity with steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space).
• Boiler operator license (state varies), wastewater certification (state varies) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GM, Production Management, and operational partners to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs and respond to equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements; support wastewater compliance and maintain PM records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
