Job summary

Pro Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a newly opened Polymer Recycling Center in Indianapolis. You will maintain equipment across sorting, grinding, and washing lines, performing repairs and preventive maintenance to maximize productivity.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and a self-starter attitude. Preferred: welding, PLC programming, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
• Self-starter with creative problem-solving.
• Preferred: experience with welding, PLC programming, and a valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical, electrical, or trade school certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all Polymer Center equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Perform repairs and maintenance on conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex electromechanical equipment independently.
• Complete field service reports and manage work orders efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to schedules.
• Install and set up new equipment, coordinating with vendors for maintenance schedules.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

As a Polymer Center Maintenance Technician A, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the equipment while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Your role will involve performing repairs and maintenance on various machinery, including sorting, grinding, and washing equipment, to maximize productivity.

The Ideal Candidate for this role:

• Is a self-starter who can find creative fixes to any problem.
• A technician who is confident in their experience and ability to tackle mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Has 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
• Preference to candidates who have worked in recycling centers or with polymer processing.
