Job summary

Pro Services Inc is expanding with a newly opened Polymer Recycling Center and is seeking a Polymer Center Maintenance Technician B to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform repairs on conveyors, screens, balers, grinders, and other electromechanical systems; complete field service reports; and coordinate with vendors for maintenance schedules.

A minimum of 2 years in industrial maintenance is required, with welding/PLC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an industrial maintenance position.
• Strong self-starter attitude with the ability to adapt and think creatively.
• Preferred: Experience with welding, PLC programming, and a valid driver's license.
• Mechanical, electrical, or trade school certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain advanced knowledge of all Polymer Center equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders to ensure safe and productive operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex electromechanical equipment independently.
• Complete field service reports and manage work orders efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
• Install and set up new equipment, coordinating with vendors for maintenance schedules.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Your role will involve performing repairs and maintenance on various machinery, including sorting, grinding, and washing equipment, to maximize productivity.

The Ideal Candidate for this role:

• Is a self-starter who can find creative fixes to any problem.


• A technician who is confident in their experience and ability to tackle mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.


• Has 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.


• Preference to candidates who have worked in recycling centers or with polymer processing.

Key Responsibilities:
