Job summary

Farmer Focus is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our poultry processing operations. This on-site role on 2nd shift focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The technician will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, perform welding and pipe work as needed, and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes. Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a cold, wet environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial, manufacturing maintenance, or electrical experience required.
• Knowledge and understanding of good safety practices.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Proficiency in using common hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and testing devices.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks involving machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the processing plant.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects and wear.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and equipment.
• Reassemble equipment following inspections and repairs.
• Respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes as required.
