Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician based on-site in Acorn to support our poultry processing operations. You will perform daily maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep machinery operating safely and reliably.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in industrial maintenance, and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance needs within a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

Proven industrial, manufacturing maintenance, or electrical experience required.
Knowledge and understanding of good safety practices.
Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Proficiency in using common hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and testing devices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery and equipment.
Disassemble machinery to remove parts and repair.
Inspect parts for defects and malfunction.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust components.
Respond to emergency maintenance needs and on-call situations.
Ensure a safe, clean work environment and proper communication during off-hours.
Operate a range of tools and testing devices.
Work in all departments of the processing plant under varying conditions.
