Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a poultry processing environment. You will help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of machinery, with responsibilities spanning installations, adjustments, and special projects that reduce downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to work independently, and responsiveness to emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

Proven industrial, manufacturing maintenance, or electrical experience required.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the processing plant.
Perform parts replacement, routine maintenance, and specials as assigned.
Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs.
Inspect parts for defects and malfunctions.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and equipment.
Reassemble equipment after inspections or repairs.
Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.
Work in all plant areas including cold, damp, or changing conditions.
Provide emergency notification and respond within 30 minutes when needed.
Keep work areas clean and safe; monitor quality of work.
