Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations to support poultry processing operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, disassemble and reassemble equipment, and respond to emergency maintenance needs, all while maintaining a safe, clean work environment on-site during the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or processing environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and testing devices.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery throughout the processing plant.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects and replace worn components.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, maintenance, or repairs.
• Provide a means of notification during non-working hours for emergencies.
• Respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes as required.
• Keep the shop and surrounding areas clean by removing debris.
• Support a safe work environment by identifying unsafe acts or conditions.
