Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our poultry processing plant in Acorn. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep operations safe and productive.

The role requires reading manuals and diagrams, working with OSHA lockout/tagout procedures, and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial, manufacturing, or plant electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of OSHA, lockout/tagout, and safety practices.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and machinery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work near animal blood.
• Ability to read/write/comprehend English.
• Ability to work in confined spaces or near elevated areas.

Responsibilities

• Read manuals and diagrams to guide maintenance work.
• Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Submit work records, PM sheets, and work orders.
• Operate tools and safety equipment per guidelines.
• Ensure safety and notify supervisors of issues.
