About the job Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant production equipment both mechanical and electrical to ensure maximum uptime and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, modify, and service electrical wiring, conduits, and control systems in an industrial environment.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Assist with fabrication, plumbing, welding, and other general maintenance duties as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA, fire and electrical safety codes, and company‑specific safety procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates, management, and vendors to support smooth plant operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and safety training.
• Complete required monthly online safety training.

MUST HAVES:

• 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent technical school training combined with work experience
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, including AC/DC motor control, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read schematics and perform precise troubleshooting
• Familiarity with networked systems and industrial computer hardware/software
