Electrical Automation Services in Carol Stream, IL, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot mechanical systems, repair pumps and conveyors, and support other maintenance team members on site.

This role requires at least 2 years of industrial mechanical experience, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and potentially multiple shifts. The plant operates in a manufacturing setting with GMP-like safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical experience.
• A valid, current driver's license preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for contractors and team members.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical prints.
• Proficiency with office software for documents, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs to keep equipment running.
• Identify and repair air, water, glue, oil, and steam leaks.
• Work with chain drives, pumps, conveyors, belts, and pulleys.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Support PMs and weekend/overtime projects.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work area.
