Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Carol Stream, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician for on-site plant support. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime, fix leaks, and service conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic components.

Overtime and weekend shifts are required to meet project demands. The role requires basic reading of schematics and the ability to work with various mechanical tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical experience.
• Must be willing to work additional hours and weekends.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical prints.
• Proficient with digital tools and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Identify and fix air, water, glue, oil, and steam leaks.
• Repair chain drives, sprockets and belts; align pulleys.
• Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems; maintain conveyors.
• Set up rigging for roll changes and larger repairs.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting as needed.
