Henkel is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Brandon, SD to keep manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. The role covers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with strong troubleshooting and CMMS experience.

You will read technical drawings, document work orders, and collaborate across production, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and work instructions.
• Experience using CMMS software and maintaining detailed maintenance documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Technical certification, trade school training, or 6-12 months of related maintenance experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they impact production.
• Support equipment installations, changeovers, adjustments, calibrations, and startup activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history within the CMMS system.
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
