Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a permanent role on the 2nd shift or weekends in a US-based manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems while following strict safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics, and experience reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot.
• Experience with welding and plumbing and use of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and building systems.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters per checklists.
• Use hand and power tools and precision instruments for maintenance.
• Assemble or repair wiring, piping, machinery, or equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints or manuals.
• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts with tools and reassemble equipment.
• Maintain equipment in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout.
