Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. This position requires 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and abide by all OSHA Rules and Regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair production and supporting equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and the facility.
• Grounds maintenance including lawn care, trimming, and snow removal.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, and 1-ton dump trucks.
• Perform light construction tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and concrete repair.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good computer skills for data entry and communication.

Desired Skills

• Use and care of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Root cause analysis.
• Fundamentals of lubrication, bearing installation, and maintenance.
• Electric motor installation and alignment.
• Welding, cutting, and grinding.
• HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
