Job description

If you are a high-level troubleshooter who gets a rush from tracking down a phantom electrical fault or tuning a complex fluid power setup to perfection, this is your home field. Randstad has partnered with a high-volume manufacturing facility in the Morgan Hill area to find an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II.

We don't need a parts-swapper. We need an autonomous, sharp-eyed technician who knows high-speed mechanical drives, complex hydraulics, pneumatic actuators, and PLC logic inside and out—someone who takes pride in keeping advanced automated production lines humming at top performance with minimal supervision.

Why Techs Want This Role
  • High-Tech Systems: Ownership over automated equipment, heavy-duty conveyor networks, fluid power systems, and advanced machinery.
  • Proactive Culture: Leverage modern CMMS software and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tools so you're spending time optimizing, not just reacting to breakdowns.
  • Top-Tier Pay: Earn up to $97,760/year based on experience, backed by stable third-shift hours. What You Bring to the Table
  • Proven Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance in high-volume, automated production environments.
  • Mechanical & Fluid Power Mastery: Deep expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding heavy conveyance systems, hydraulic power units, directional valves, and pneumatic logic.
  • Electrical & PLC Savvy:Ability to read complex electrical schematics, use multimeters for high/low-voltage diagnostics, and perform PLC troubleshooting/programming analysis to clear line faults fast.
  • CMMS & Tech Skills: Comfortable using CMMS software for daily work order tracking, equipment history logging, and spare parts management.
  • Safety & Resilience: Mastery of Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols and 3S/5S standards, physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and readiness to support a 24/7 high-volume facility.
