Job summary

Randstad USA in Silicon Valley seeks an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and keep production running in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

You will work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, motors, bearings, gears, and other production equipment while performing preventive and emergency maintenance.

Salary ranges from $66,500 to $81,000 per year, with first shift 8 AM to 4 PM and high school education accepted.

We are looking for an experiencedEquipment Maintenance Technicianto maintain and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment. You'll work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, motors, bearings, gears, and other production equipment while performing preventive and emergency maintenance.

salary: $66,500 - $81,000 per year

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery to minimize downtime and ensure a safe, reliable production environment.

Responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, working with motors, gears, bearings, shafts and piping, reading technical diagrams and manuals, maintaining CMMS work orders, sourcing replacement parts, and following all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout. Forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with industrial equipment and machinery
• Ability to understandPLC ladder logic
• Experience working with5V DC to 480V AC
• Ability to assemble and align gears, bearings, and shafts
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
• Experience with preventive maintenance andCMMS
